Day Tour from Marrakech via Atlas Mountains to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou
One of the most beautiful excursions in Morocco is the drive from Marrakech to Ouarzazte. This wonderful journey takes you over the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi N’tichka Pass at an elevation of 2260 meters. The Pass offers superb views of both the mountains and picturesque Berber villages. Ouarzazte has located 190 km from Marrakech. Along the way, we will visit two famous Kasbahs: the ancient strategic Kasbah of Telouat and the exotic UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. We will also stop for lunch along the way. Another option would be a visit to Atlas Studios, the largest movie studio in the world and host to such famous films and television shows as Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King, Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Aladdin, as well as several James Bond and Jason Bourne movies, or we could also visit the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate before we drive you back to Marrakech. Drop off at your accommodation in Marrakesh early evening around 18:00.
